Pearson Test of English ( PTE ) is an English language test. PTE is accepted by thousands of Institutions worldwide. PTE ACADEMIC is accepted for visa purposes by Australian and New Zealand governments. We provide classroom coaching & online coaching for PTE. In the PTE General exam, there are two segments, further further divided into six sections altogether. The PTE General test has two primary sections – a written paper and a spoken test. The written segments are further divided into listening, reading comprehension and writing skills sections.

A comparison between IELTS and PTE Academic
PTE Academic and IELTS are very closely structured, they both test students on all four modes of communication: speaking, writing, reading and listening. Although the testing components are the same, the contents of the speaking part and sections differ. PTE has a general approach as it focuses on the integrated skills of speaking and writing.
Contrasting to IELTS Speaking is done face to face with the examiner, whereas, the PTE speaking section is completed on a computer and graded by AI systems. Making PTE more comfortable rather than being nervous in front of a person.
Difference between IELTS and PTE
The CELPIP-General Test assesses functional Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking skills, and is accepted by IRCC as an evidence of English language proficiency for permanent residency in Canada. Other associations that accept the CELPIP-General Test include the Real Estate Council of British Columbia and Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council. The total test time for the CELPIP-General Test is about 3 hours.
The CELPIP-General LS Test assesses functional Listening and Speaking proficiency and is accepted by IRCC as an evidence of English language proficiency for Canadian citizenship. The total test time for the CELPIP-General LS Test is about 1 hour and 10 minutes.

The Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE) is a language test designed to assess the use of the English language skills of non-native English speakers.
